Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety is investigating a smash-and-grab robbery that occurred at Nitin's Jewelers on El Camino Real on May 04 ( Saturday) afternoon, just after 1:00 PM.
Reports indicate a group of at least 10 masked suspects entered the store and used hammers to break display cases before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of jewelry. Police say at least one suspect brandished a handgun.
Thankfully, no injuries were reported during the incident. Investigators are reviewing security footage and ask anyone with information to contact the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.
